BGAN M2M is an INMARSAT service that allows users to connect remote devices and applications that do not require high data rates. It is completely based on the current BGAN network and infrastructure without any changes in the INMARSAT provisioning process. This means that BGAN M2M benefits from proven and reliable technology.
BGAN M2M has the following technical advantages:

This advance provides end-to-end IP connectivity in locations with power problems that depend on batteries and solar panels.
The GEO-9502 model includes 10 meters of RF cable, giving the user freedom to position the antenna remotely and separately from the transceiver in complex installations while securing the SIM card inside a receptacle to better protect against unauthorized use, robbery and vandalism. Although future firmware versions will not be common, updates can be made free of charge through over-the-air (OTA) saving customers time and money.
